Philip
Bowers is the president and CEO of Spectrum Management,
Inc. a consulting firm with focus on major business
strategy evaluation and development, business planning
and review, and turnaround assessment and management.
Philip
is the former president of Let’s Go Aero, Inc.
an aftermarket automotive accessory design and manufacturing
company. And former President/CEO of TVX, Inc. an international
engineering and manufacturer of digital video surveillance
equipment. He has extensive experience in new product
development, new market launches, strategic partnering,
licensing, and turnaround management. He has worked
with fortune 50, mid-size and startup companies as executive
management and business partners. He has overseen mergers
and divestitures as well as developed and launched new
initiatives.
As
an accomplished trainer and speaker, Philip was named
as an industry expert for media relations with the American
Society for Industrial Security and has appeared on
CNN, Dateline NBC, 20/20, MSNBC, and various local news
programs. He has served on numerous industry committees
and corporate boards and is currently president of the
Montclair Academy Board of Trustees in Denver, Colorado,
a non-profit independent school.
He
is a member of the Institute of Management Consultants,
the Turnaround Management Association, and the American
Management Association. He is also a former series 7
licensed securities broker and NASD member.
As
an executive Philip has built organizations, developed
collaborative efforts with fortune 50 companies, led
a turnaround and divestiture, effected mergers and acquisitions,
managed an IPO, and participated in and led start-up
efforts.
As
a consultant, he has written business plans, facilitated
strategy development, conducted training seminars, performed
market analysis, conducted business evaluations, guided
new business ventures, and effected investor recovery.
As
a parent, he has changed diapers, kissed boo-boos, consoled
wounded spirits, and been the “bad guy”
when appropriate. The admiration and love from two children
is the greatest reward bestowed upon him and the one
held in highest regard.
